Day Fifty Three.
Today nothing huge happened, but for some reason it was a really good day for me. School went by super fast which is always awesome when that happens, and then the rest of my day just went really well! After school I ate lunch with nonna (pasta, bread, meat, fruit) and then once Fabiola had came and eaten we went back home. I WAS FREEZING TODAY. I had to wear my north face, gloves, scarf, and boots in the house! Fabiola put their portable heater facing towards me in the kitchen though and then she made me a cappuccino! She knows how to make me feel better haha. It felt so nice and it warmed my insides! I then started to carve another pumpkin, when Fabiola told me to stop because Patrizia (my second host mom) was coming over to see me carve the pumpkin! I was carving it for her too (: She LOVED it. It wasn't the best one I have done, but they thought it was beautiful (which made me feel really good haha). I love her so much. She is sooo nice and treats me like I was her own daughter! I love all my families too. I am very blessed. After she left she sent a photo on Facebook of her and Daniela (her daughter) with the pumpkin! She loved it too! YAY! I love carving pumpkins too. I would love to do another! Haha. Then I got a headache, but I took some ibuprofen. It didn't go away though. Fabiola had to go get some ricotta for a dish she was making for dinner, so when she came back she made me a panino! LOVE HER. After that my headache went away! Then I washed the pumpkin seeds from the recent pumpkin so that we can cook them tomorrow. Fabiola and I watched NCIS while doing so, and then I just got so cold! I had to whip out a blanket then and turn the heater back on. WHY AM I ALWAYS COLD?! I have no idea. Then Fabiola made dinner, we ate, and then they had to go to a meeting for Francesco's play in two weeks. I cannot wait to see it! They said they wouldn't be home until midnight, so I skyped with my mom and now I am going to go to sleep! They said I could come with them, but I have school tomorrow and I am so tired! Also they said it is super boring, so I would probably fall asleep anyways! Goodnight world!
Day Fifty Two.
I slept in so late today! Well, I woke up around 9:30 am and then got ready and ate breakfast, but I was so tired from the night before that I fell back asleep until Fabiola came home at 1:30 pm and woke me up for lunch! It was crazy, but I definitely needed to sleep in. It had been quite a long time since I last slept past even 9:00 am .We had a big lunch because the whole family was there! It was so yummy! We had lasagna, bread, fried zucchini flower things, meat, fruit, and dessert! SO GOOD. After we ate we went back home and we all watched some tv together. It was such a cold and rainy weekend that there really was not much to do. It was also so foggy that day, and it even hailed! CRAZY. Fabiola and I cooked the pumpkin seeds from yesterday also, and they were amazing. They were cinnamon sugar seeds! Everyone loved them! I also helped her a little bit with cooking dinner, and then she made me a cappucinno because she knows I love them! After that she had recorded all of the Halloween Town movies, so watched two of them! It is finally starting to feel like Fall to me, so I am really happy! After watching the movies we ate dinner and then I showered. I am always so cold here, and my room is the coldest in the house (so that doesn't help much). I have to wear sweat pants, two shirts, socks, house shoes, and a scarf to bed! I also put the covers over my head because my face becomes so cold in the night. It isn't really even that cold outside yet, so I am nervous for winter! Oh well, it will be fine (; I will get used to it! I just skyped my family which was fun. My dad and sister just came back from church, and my mom is sick. I hope you feel better mommy! Sooner than later, obviously! I love you guys, and I love and miss all my friends in family! I just wanted to let you know you are on my mind right now! Have a fantastic day! Night. (:

Day Fifty One.
NO SCHOOL FOR KARRIN TODAY! (: I just have to go to an italian class for two hours, which is about 1000000000 times better. I was so happy with the outcome of the class because I understood everything they said, and when she was teaching us grammar it made sense (they teach in italian, and I thought it would be much harder than it actually was)! We also started reading a shortened passage of Cyrano (the guy with the huge nose), and I love this play because it is actually funny haha. It was one of the few plays I enjoyed reading in high school! We underlined words we didn't know, and then other people explained what they meant (in italian). After the class Mie and I went our separate ways, and then I hung out at home. After lunch my family went to a soccer game, and when they returned Andrea and I made fried zucchini flower thingies. I am not sure what they are called, but they are the flowers on the top of zucchinis, and they are AMAZING. I am obsessed with them. After that I carved my pumpkin! It was so nice because it made me feel at home. It was something familiar to me, and my family LOVED it! When Fabiola went to buy the pumpkin she told me that the workers want to see it when it is finished! I then felt the pressure to make it look really good though! I just made it a standard Halloween smile! Now my second host family wants to do one, and nonna wants me to make one for her! I love doing it, so the more the merrier! After I finished my pumpkin, we washed the seeds to bake them for tomorrow. Then I got ready to go out with Andrea and some of his friends. It was fun and they were all so nice to me (seeing that they were 3 or 4 years older than me!). We went to a bar for appetizers, and then to a pizzeria! I ate a whole pizza again! It is actually becoming quite easy for me to do now (unfortunately haha). After we ate we walked around La Spezia for a while, and then around midnight I was just way too tired. I asked if I could walk home, so I did haha. I am not going to lie, walking home alone at midnight on a Saturday was a little creepy, but all turned out well! Except I forgot to call Andrea right when I got home and I felt terrible! I had gone to get a glass of water and he called 5 times ): I called right back though and was like "MI DISPIACE ANDREA!" (I am sorry Andrea). Haha he said "DON'T WORRY KARRIN! TUTTO BENE!" What a great host brother! Now I am going to go to bed, finally. GOODNIGHT EVERYBODY!

Day Fifty.
FRIDAY! This is such a happy day for me now since I don't have to go to school on Saturdays anymore! I am pretty excited about this. The only thing is that all this weekend it is supposed to rain like crazy. I am not really in the mood for rain, but I will just have to deal with it! Today I wore my new sweatpants so that was also pretty exciting for me. I was so comfy today, it was awesome. After school I walked home and it started to rain HARD CORE, so i whipped out my umbrella but I still got soaked. When I got home I changed into some warm and dry clothing, and then ate lunch! After lunch I cleaned my room, and then hung out around the house. It was so nasty out, that it just was not a very eventful day. Andrea came back from college for the weekend, annnddd that is the only thing remotely exciting I can report about today. Fabiola made me pancakes again, so yay! Then we had dinner, and then I posted funny, strange, and sentimental photos of myself on the walls of my friends and family on facebook (: yeah I am weird, I don't care. Now I am going to bed to enjoy being able to sleep in tomorrow morning! NIGHT!

Day Forty Nine.
So today school was mediocre. I fell asleep in one class so that is always fun. I felt better though because so did Mie. She had to take a coffee because she was so exhausted! I wasn't as bad today as other days though. Some classes though are just TERRIBLE. We don't understand anything, the teacher doesn't give us something to do to help us, and then they just talk the whole time while the students take notes. One of our teachers told us that they want us to talk to our teachers about it though because they should be giving us something to do to help us better our italian (or something, I don't know). After school I went home and ate lunch with Fabiola (PASTAAA) and then I literally didn't do anything. I was so freaking bored, although it was nice to relax. I mostly just practiced italian and watched Jenna Marbles videos. Around 5:00 pm Fabiola and I went to Patrizia Ghiglione's home (my second host family) to see about a vacuum she might buy. I hung out with my future host sister (Daniela, her birthday is the day before mine so we are almost the exact same age!) while the mommas looked at how some vacuum worked. She showed me the colors she wanted to paint her room which was cool! She is thinking about yellow because it is supposed to help with studying and concentration (and they do a lot of that here). OH AND THEY ARE GETTING A KITTEN IN NOVEMBER AND I AM SO EXCITED. I miss my cat, so this kitty will be a nice substitute until I can get back to Miss Polly (wow, I'm weird). We also looked at her photo albums, and some really old ones too. It was soo cool to see photos from as far back as the 50's! Everything looked so different. Her grandma even has a car from WW2 (pretty sweet). After that we went home and ate dinner (just me and her though because Francesco had to work). She always makes me chocolate pancakes for dessert (I am NOT complaining) which I love! It is funny to me because we don't really think of them as dessert, but since they never make them here it is thought of as one! It makes sense though because they are not healthy for you at all! Now I shower and go to sleep. BUONA NOTTE! (:
Day Forty Eight.
School went well today! I was glad once it was over obviously, but whenever we have our italian tutor school is so much better. She is so nice and she always brings us mini pizzas and focaccias for a snack! SO AWESOME. I learned a lot more today with her, and she said our journal entries are improving! We are writing complex sentences and even writing more in general! I still have a long way to go, but it feels so good to know that I am improving. After school Mie and I went to La Pia for lunch. I love this place, so much. It is delicious. I always get pizza, farinata, and then focaccia alla nutella for dessert. IT IS HEAVEN IN YOUR MOUTH PEOPLE. I am always so satisfied after eating there. Then we walked back to my house because all the shops close down in the afternoon for lunch and what not. It is cool, but inconvenient if you want to go shopping! We watched Midnight in Paris when we got back, and was so funny! We even watched it in italian which made me feel so much better knowing that I could actually understand it (with subtitles in italian of course)! Then Fabiola made us chocolate chip pancakes. YUMMAY. It reminded me of home (: After that we went to the gelato store by our home (yeah we are fat, we eat so much here). The guy there remembers me because I go there a lot, and he knows I am from America. When we ordered we did it in italian, and then he talked with us in a while in english! I did not know he could speak english which was pretty cool! He is so nice. I got chocolate, nocciola, and bacio. Those are my signature flavors here in Italy. Then we went SHOPPING! I got a black dress for Halloween and two pairs of earrings, and Mie got some jeggings! Then we went our separate ways, and when I got back I watched NCIS with Fabiola and then we ate dinner! Now I am going to go to bed. Yeah I know it is lame I always end my blogs with this phrase, but it is how my day always ends! I will mix it up this time. I had an awesome day! YEAH. Bye bye everyone who reads this (which I hope someone does...)!
Oh, I almost forgot to mention though that this morning I almost got pooped on by a bird. Like if I would have been walking 0.01 seconds faster, I would have been bombarbed by bird doodoo. NOT COOL. Then also I saw a cute little baby bird dead on the side of the road a few second later! Once again, NOT COOL. Other than that this day was amazing, okay bye now (:

Day Forty Seven.
So this is going to be a SUPER uneventful post because I did not do anything today people. And I am not going to lie, I enjoyed every second of it. I WAS SO TIRED TODAY. I just randomly get these days where I seriously cannot function/can barely talk because I am so worn out. I rested, I hung out with Fabiola, I watched some italian tv, ate, and then slept. Yupp. BORING. So since there is nothing to say about today I will just comment on some random things I have noticed.
1: Converse shoes here are everywhere. I am pretty sure to be italian you have to own a pair of these shoes. I counted how many people were wearing converse in one of my classes on a random day, and there were only 3 people in the whole class of twenty something people not wearing converse! I went to go buy a pair, but they are 60 euros! That is like 80 dollars for a pair of converse, HECK NAH. Maybe later, but I am not going to just go buy a pair of those right now!
2: The men here dress so freaking nice, I LOVE IT. I will never miss baggy pants, sports tennis shoes, or sweats and t shirts ever again. EVER. I wish the men dressed this nice in America haha. Sometimes I even think they have more style than the girls. CRAZY I KNOW.
3: You are italian if you talk with your hands. Whenever I see Fabiola or someone do some hand thingy I always ask what it means! It is so much fun haha. I am starting to get the hang of it!
Yeah there is more, but I just can't think of anything right now. Do not worry though, I can always write about it later! For now I go to sleep, CIAO CIAO CIAO!

Day Forty Six.
I am so tired today, but then again I am tired everyday haha. School went well, and very fast which was AWESOME. Then after school Mie and I went to Le Terazze! We were craving McDonald's TERRIBLY. We both got 2 cheeseburgers and a mcflurry, and we were still hungry so we got farinata haha. Yeah we are fat. I don't know why but we both say we are hungry all the time, but that was never the case in our home countries. I DON'T WANT TO BECOME FAT. After we ate we definitely suffered the consequences though. We both had a stomach ache! I think it is because we weren't used to such bad food for such a long time, and that we ate so much of it haha. Oh well, it was worth it! We then shopped around and bought some things for Halloween next week! We both bought make up from kiko (a make up store), nail polish, fake eyelashes (YEAH), and earrings! We are going to be black cats! I am so excited. After Le Terazze we went back to the school for a meeting for her organization she came here with. It was fun because we got to see people who might do this same experience next year! We also got to tell about our experience a little bit with some people. Then we went shopping again in the center of La Spezia! We are obsessed! Then I went home and did some homework, and then we ate dinner. I ate with nonna because Fabiola had a cooking class and Francesco had to work super late. I love eating with nonna though! She is so much fun and a very good cook just like her daughter! After dinner we watched Dallas, and then I went home and skyped with my lil sissy for a bit (; LOVE HER. She definitely brightens my day up if I am having a bad one, and she makes me laugh my "bottom" off. MISSING YOU JULIE. Now I am going to bed because I am dead tired. CIAAOOOO.

Day Forty Five.
Today I leave Milan ): I DON'T WANT TO GO YET. Oh well, I can wait for the next time. I still have all day today also! I woke up and ate a croissant, and then we headed out to meet Fabiola and Francesco. We then went to a cafe and I got a cappuccino, duh. After that we went and saw the Arch of Peace. It is so pretty and so HUGE! Milly and Milano (their friends) also live so close to it, I am so jealous. They then wanted to show me Milan from 320 feet in the air, so we went to the Branca Tower. It was so beautiful to see Milan from so high up! It was also foggy that day, so the city kind of faded away the further you looked out. I loved it. After that we went to the church of Leonardo Da Vinci (Santa Maria delle Grazie)! That was so cool to see because we had learned about him in school, and there I was in the church where he did some of his most famous paintings! I wanted to see "The Last Supper" but you have to sign up for that and it is a 4-5 month waiting list. I am going to sign up for it though for February or March. I cannot wait to see it! Then we went to another church, but I do not remember the name! There are so many beautiful churches here in Italy just in general. I love it! Then we walked around in Vecchia Milano (old Milan) and it was so different from the fashion part of Milan. I liked seeing the differences. There was also almost nobody there. All the shops were closed and the buildings closed down. I did see a middle finger statue though, which was pretty cool. Then we went to lunch at this amazing store back by the Duomo. It is called "Rinascente" and it has all the high fashion designers in it, and then on the top floor (there are like 8 floors to this store also) there is a huge restaurant with all these different options. I had lasagna haha. It was also right next to the Duomo so when you walked out to the terrace you could see the top of the Duomo almost! I loved it. It was also cool because each section of it was separated based on what you wanted to eat. There was a section for, meat, sushi, fruits and vegetables, wine, champagne, pasta, dessert, tea and coffee, and something else I cannot remember. I liked that system though! After we ate we went back to their home to get my things, and then we headed back to La Spezia. I will miss Milan, but I am happy to go home! I miss my bed haha. When we got back we ordered pizza and I was STARVING, so I ate the whole thing! Then for dessert Fabiola gave me some of the meringues she made! They are delicious, by the way. Now I am going to sleep because I have school tomorrow -_- hahaha CIAO.
Day Forty Four.
I AM GOING TO MILAN TODAY! I am literally so freaking excited! We left at around 10 and got there around noon. We then met up with some of their friends that I had met the second day I was here. They are sooo nice! We then went to a cafe and I drank a cappuccino! I love them here. It is bad how much I drink them sometimes. This one was already my second within a three hour period. I never thought I would like coffee this much. Then we went to see the Duomo. It is GORGEOUS. If you don't recognize the name of it, you will definitely recognize it when you see photos of it. It is huge and beautiful. We also went to the gallery which was like a covered area with all these designer shops, and then we went to the fashion part of Milan. Wow. I had no idea things would be so expensive. I was hoping to buy something small at one of the designer stores, but even the small impractical things were so expensive. So I didn't buy anything designer, but I did buy a cute pair of earrings! I am happy about that. The most expensive thing I saw was a 9700 euro dress at Dolce & Gabbana. The cheapest thing I saw at a designer store was a 60 euro keychain... yeah. It was so much fun to see all the high end fashion styles. There were some pretty weird clothing though. Stuff I would NEVER wear. It was literally clothing you see in fashion shows, but would never buy yourself.
After we shopped we went to a gelato store (of course) and I got chocolate, nocciola, and bacio! They are my three faves (: We then continued to walk around and shop! I bought some make up from Sephora so that was fun. Also I saw the Scala, which is a giant theatre where operas and plays are. I didn't get to go inside, but maybe next time! We then went back to their friends' home and ate dinner! It was so yummy. We ate lasagna, eggplant with cheese (SO DELICIOUS), and then some meat! I didn't eat the meat though because it was raw haha. People here love eating raw meat, and I just can't do it! Then for dessert we had chocolate fondent. SO GOOD. After dinner we all talked for a while, and then Fabiola and Francesco went back to their hotel and I slept at their friends' home because the hotel only had one bed. They are such nice people though. It was a very nice stay for me (: Now I am going to enjoy another day in Milan because it is my last until the next time I go! CIAO!

Day Forty Three.
Today school went well! We had an assembly to see who will be the next "class presidents" and it was cool to see how a different school elects their leaders. Each group made a video and had all their points lined out. Mie and I were even in one video! It was fun haha. So that was the school day. I was really happy because we didn't have to actually learn anything AND we got got out 45 minutes earlier than school normally lets out! After school I went home and ate lunch with Fabiola, and after that I practiced some Italian and I got to Skype with Sarah Grossman! I love that woman! We had a good conversation haha. After that I went out with Fabiola to look at the market we have here every Friday! It fills the streets for a couple blocks, and it is really cool. I plan on buying some things there soon because it is cheap! Then I went to meet Mie and Beatrice at the bus stop! We then walked to find some food place for Beatrice, but it was closed so we walked back to the bus stop. Then I gave them these delicious meringue sweets Fabiola made, and they loved them! They are amazingly good. Then our favorite person came and talked to us. I don't know his name but he is always around the school and talks with us! He is so nice also. He was even in one of the videos for the president election for school! He was rapping Wiz Khalifa which made us love him even more. After that we met La Buffa at the school because Mir and I wanted to sign up for Italian classes on Saturday! I am so happy for this now because I don't have to go to school on Saturdays anymore! The class is from 9:30 am-11:30 am so I don't have to go to school! THANK THE LORD ABOVE! After we signed up, Buffa had us over to her home for tea and appetizers. Her house is like a mini castle. IT EVEN HAS A SPIRAL STAIRCASE. We all fell in love with it. Also the tea she made was amazing! There was also all these delicious sweet and savory foods. We enjoyed it very much so. She is just so nice! We talked for a while (in Italian, yay!) and then Mie and Beatrice had to go to catch their bus. So we said our goodbyes, but first Buffa wanted to take some funny photos haha. They were definitely interesting! We were holding some old candlesticks and swords she has, so that was an adventure! I seriously love this woman though. She is like my third grandma. After that we all went home and Andrea was back from college for the weekend, so we had a lovely dinner (as always)! Then there was the dessert... OMG. It was the meringue cookies she made earlier with chocolate fondant and panna which is like whipped cream but about 7562819364 times better. I seriously think it is my favorite dessert I have eaten so far here. Now I am going to bed because I am exhausted haha. I go to Milan tomorrow and I am so excited! I can't wait to tell you all how it goes! Buona notte!

Day Forty Two.
My life was boring today. I didn't do anything except go to school, eat, sleep, do homework, eat, and then now I am going to sleep again. Even if I didn't do anything significant, the food I ate was freaking delicious today. For lunch I showed my family that we eat apples with peanut butter, and they liked it! We also ate pesto pasta and meat! Then for dinner we ate this AMAZING chicken with some sort of sauce and bacon! It is seriously so delicious. I ate two pieces haha. America, expect me to be fat when I return to you. So far we are pretty good though. A NEW VAMPIRE DIARIES PREMIERES TONIGHT! This was my excitement for the day until I remembered I have to wait until the next day because in America it premieres on Thursdays ): Oh well. At dinner I talked with my family a lot, and they said that I have become quite the little Italian now hehe. I can speak and understand at a mediocre level which sounds like nothing, BUT I AM SO HAPPY! I am not completely in the dark when I hear people talk (and let me tell you, that sucks). I love it here. The small things that I may not like are completely irrelevant when I think about everything in the big picture. I am so blessed to be here. I love everyone I have met so far, and I hope to meet even more people! For now I am going to go to sleep, but tomorrow I actually have plans so I will update everything then! Ciao a tutti!
Day Forty One.
So today is Wednesday, and it is the middle of the week (since I don't have to go to school on Saturday because we are going to Milan)! This week has gone by really fast already. School is still a bore, but I enjoy being around the people! After school I ate lunch with nonna, and then I practiced italian for a little bit. Then me, Fabiola, and Paula (her sister) went out around La Spezia! We walked around into shops and looked at what they had to offer haha. Fabiola bought a super cute pair of shoes, but I just window shopped (: I am saving all my shopping for this weekend in Milan! I am SO PUMPED. After that we walked back home (it was around 8:15 pm), and ate dinner! I also watched some MTV music videos (good time, something by kanye west, gangnam style, and other videos) which was pretty fun. I have never really watched the music videos when they play them on MTV! It was definitely entertaining! After that we watched NCIS, and then I showered. I also talked with my momma, papa, and sister that day! I love talking to them! They always make my day. I told them everything that's happenin' here in Italy, and they then filled me in on what is going on in their lives. I miss them a lot, and I also have noticed that I miss the little things about America or my life there. I miss going to my relatives' homes and just sitting there talking or watching tv, I miss AMERICAN peanut butter, and I miss being able to wear scrub clothing in public and see 50% of the other people outside wearing sweats also! Although I reallllllyyy do like how well the men dress here (that is something I won't argue with haha). Okay, now I am going to go to sleep because I am exhausted. Goodnight world!

Day Forty.
Today I got ready for school early, so I went with one of my friends to school and hung out with him and some of his friends at a bar next to the school! It was really fun and I got to meet more new people! It was freezing when I got in the school today, so I had to wear a coat all day. I am so happy though that it is getting cooler! I love wearing winter clothing. After school I went home and ate lunch with nonna, and then went home and Fabiola made me hot chocolate! I drink that stuff everyday since it started to become cool! Then after that I finished some of my homework for la buffa tomorrow! I love her so much. Mie and I wish we had her everyday! She is sooo nice! She also always brings us a little snack, which is so cool because we are always hungry around that time of the day! After I finished my homework I hung out with Fabiola for a while, but then she had to go to a meeting. I then decided to watch some TV to help me better my italian (: haha. Then when she came home I joined her in the kitchen to watch her cook! Andrea is coming home from Amsterdam today and he loves pasta, so she is making a seafood pasta which I LOVE. After dinner we watched a new episode of NCIS (because we are both obsessed) and then I went to sleep! It was a normal day, but great as usual! CIAO!

Day Thirty Nine.
Wow, I do NOT want to go to school today. I am dead tired from the weekend. My legs are paralyzed from walking so much. I am pretty sure I fell asleep in every class today, and it didn't help that it was pouring down rain. When I walked home from school I got soaked, so I was wet and cold. Let's just say my day didn't start out so well. When I got home I ate lunch with nonna, and then went to lay down back at my house. Fabiola and I ended up watching Monster in Law together, and then she had to go to the school for a little bit. I watched it in italian, and I understood it which made me feel SO AWESOME. When she returned she made me hot chocolate and cookies. Gosh I love her! Then we watched NCIS, but I fell asleep for 3 hours. I am always so tired! Then when I woke up she made dinner, we ate, and then watched the news! She also had these yummy desserts of chocolate and these sweet breads. They are amazing though. After dinner I went to shower, and then to sleep! Time for another day of school and what not!
Day Thirty Eight.
Today we leave Monterosso ): I don't want to yet! I have met so many amazing people! I guess I just need to enjoy every second of today! We woke up and ate breakfast (bread bread and more bread) and then we headed to Monterosso! When we got there, we all walked up to this scenic view point and took a group photo, and then we could go off and do our own thing. District 2040 was leaving soon, so we said our goodbyes there! I still had a lot of time with everyone from 2050 though! We went to the beach next, but it was so cold we just sat out and slept haha. Then we were even too cold to sit on the beach, so we decided to go get some hot chocolate! It was so weird because it would be really cold, and then become hot again. The hot chocolate was good in both types of weather though. It is seriously amazing here. It is just like melted chocolate! After that we walked around a little bit, and then everyone went to a focacceria for lunch! i got pizza and farinata, my favorites! I was so stuffed afterwards though because it was a lot more food than I thought it would be. We walked back around and did some shopping, and then we bought some gelato. Okay guys, today I only ate it once so I am super proud of myself! After that we had to wait at the train station because 2050 had to leave soon ): I talked with Dewayne for a while, and I love that guy! He is so funny. We also walked so he could get some gelato (not me, not this time haha). We talked in italian together also which was so much fun! I feel like a true italian when I speak it in public haha. Then 2050 had to go ): We said our goodbyes (we called them "see you laters"), and then watched them go into the train station! Then we started to get ready to go about 30 minutes later. The funny thing is that about 10 minutes before we were leaving, 2050 ran back out of the train station because their train was delayed! Apparently there was a huge strike against the trains that day, so all these rides were delayed or canceled or re-routed. They had to wait another 2.5 hours, and then they had to take a detour to Milan (completely out of their way) on the way home which made it a 6 hour train ride or so. I felt so bad because they were going to get back so late! So then they hung out around the beach, and then one of our friends fell and hurt her leg ): She was okay though in the end! Then 2030 (my district) left. We had to pick up some other people at our train station in La Spezia though because their trains were also delayed for 3 hours. It was crazy. When I got home I unpacked, and sat down because I was so tired. Then Fabiola and Francesco came home and I told them all about my weekend! Now I just finished dinner and am going to sleep. Night everyone!

Day Thirty Seven.
Today is the day. The day that we hike for 3 hours. Thank the Lord in heaven above (literally God, thank you so much) that it is mostly downhill. There were only a few parts that had an incline! It was so much fun though because we sang and stopped a lot to take pictures! It was also a beautiful hike. We were going from Monterosso to Vernazza (another city in the Cinque Terre). My host family took me there a few weeks ago, but each time it is always gorgeous. We stopped there to see the castle, and we got some gelato also! Then Tessa and I were really craving fruit so we bought an apple. The guy was some what rude though because when we picked up our apples he said to us, in english, " DON'T SQUISH DON'T SQUISH!" haha we were like "OKAYYY SORRY" haha. It was completely worth it though because they were AMAZING. We were craving fruit terribly. Then we all took the train to Monterosso for shopping and to eat lunch. We ate lunch at this yummy restaurant, and we had pesto pasta and seafood pasta! IT WAS SO GOOD. I freaking love pasta. After we ate we went to get another gelato! Yes, this is the second time in one day that we ate gelato. It is just too good here. I am determined to get fat. We then went to the beach and took funny videos of us doing gangnam style. SO FUNNY. People swam also, but I was way too cold! After the beach we shopped some more and then bought ANOTHER gelato. Yeah, it is bad people, I know. Our taxi cars then took us back to the place where we are staying, but we didn't have our key to the room. Another group didn't also so we had to wait for our leaders! We talked for a while (me and my Cremona friends hehe), and then our leaders FINALLY arrived! The funny thing was that they told us our keys were in the office the entire time... AWK. So we all showered and got ready for dinner! That night we had pesto lasagna, and seafood pasta. Weird, that is what we had for lunch also... It is so good though that I didn't even care! After dinner we began to act like dinosaurs. I have no clue why, but it was pretty fun. We even have a video of it! Then we played some games like Telephone! Since we had people that spoke many languages, it was so funny to see the outcome of the phrase! Esther, a girl from Germany, was sitting next to a girl from Taiwan and it was SO FUNNY because she would always say to me "I can't understand a word she is saying to me!" haha. So Tessa went in between them so that helped a lot (: Around midnight I went to bed because I was so exhausted, but other people stayed out later. I don't want to leave everyone tomorrow ): I know it isn't goodbye though! Until tomorrow!
Day Thirty Six.
Compared to yesterday, today was super eventful. When we got to school there was a strike going on against the school and its teachers. Mie and I wanted to go for the obvious reason, missing school, but when I called Fabiola she thought it would be better for us to go to the school. So we both went to my classroom today because her class had gym (ew), but we had no teacher because they were in the strike! We just walked around the school and got some snacks and then a whole bunch of people asked if we could leave the school, but they said no. I am pretty sure we all saw that coming, but it never hurts to ask! We then went to the computer lab. I got to talk to Caleb Amundson on facebook which made me SO HAPPY. I am 100% sure that that was the highlight of my day. Although I thought about it after we talked and it was 2:30 am for him, so I am now wondering what was he doing up that late! Haha. Great guy. Then the next hour our entire class was at the strike, so we stayed in the computer lab. Another classroom came in, and they were the little kids. We watched the strike out the window, and then they started walking towards the school. Everyone was hanging out the windows to see, and then the protestors started picking limes and oranges off the trees and THROWING them at us! It hurt too! I caught some of them though and threw them away. A lot of people were catching them and then throwing them back at people, but I didn't really want to do that haha. After that bit of excitement, it was time for our next class. They came to the computer lab too though. I am not even kidding, Mie and I were in that lab for the entire school day. It was so boring, but then again we didn't have to listen to a boring lecture or anything. After school I went home and watched the brand new episode of "The Vampire Diaries" (which was AMAZING), and then I packed for Monterosso! Andrea came to pick me up around 4:00 pm, and we were on our way! It is in Cinque Terre which takes about 30 minutes to get there from my house. When we arrived we put everything in our rooms, and went to say hi to everyone! Kari and I were yelling each other's names and running to hug each other! It was a wonderful Kansas reunion! I also met all her other friends from Cremona, and I love each and every one of them. They are all incredibly nice, and I plan on visiting them sometime! I truly made some wonderful new friends. We hung out for a while, and then went to eat dinner. After dinner we went to the TV room for a meeting. We sang some songs (like volare!) and then played some icebreakers. After that we were able to walk around and be with friends for a while, so we went to Tessa's room and some of them did face masks! They looked so funny! After that we talked to some other people outside our rooms, and then went to sleep! I have to wake up at 7:00 am tomorrow, so goodnight!
Day Thirty Five.
School was boring today. I am pretty sure I fell asleep again. It was rainy all day which didn't help. I was exhausted from yesterday. Now I am home from eating lunch, and I am having Mie over to hang out! We watched some tv, and talked for a while, and then we lost track of time for when she was supposed to be home! Her host sister was waiting at our bus stop, so she ran out as quickly as possibly, but they still missed it. Everything was okay though because the next one came soon after, and they made it home in time for supper! I did some more homework, ate dinner, talked to some people on facebook, and then went to sleep. It was a very uneventful day for me unfortunately. I am so excited though because tomorrow I leave for Monterosso! I am so excited to meet everyone and to see my home girl from KANSAS! District 5710 REPRESENT! So until tomorrow my friends. BUONA NOTTE!
Day Thirty Four.
I am going to Genova today! I AM SO PUMPED. We are taking the train there, and it is about an hour long ride. Once we got to Genova, we stopped at this focacceria because Genova is famous for this bread with melted cheese on it. It was amazing... LIKE OMG. Also Fabiola got me some plain bread! Then we walked around for a little while, and stopped to look in some shops. We were all craving caffeine, so we went to this really cute coffee bar and I got a cappucinno with cocoa on top! Coffee here is sooo much better. Then we went to search for a winter coat for me! I found THE CUTEST one in a store, so I bought it! Haha. It was originally 390 euros, and I got it for 117 euros! I was a happy girl. Also it is an Italian coat, which is even better. Then I wanted to get a Long Champ purse (a french designer), so I bought one, and I got it on sale because Fabiola knew the owner! It was 140 euros and I got it for 70 euros! It was just a great day for sales for me I guess! I am in love with the purse, just for your information. After that we walked around for a while peaking our heads into stores, and then we split up with Simonetta (Fabiola's friend) to meet up with Andrea for lunch. We ate in this store called Coin, which was like Nordstrom's with their cafe. I had a tortilla thing with cheese, meat, tomatoes, and basil. YUMMY. Then we went to drop Andrea off at his home, and one our way we saw Christopher Columbus' house! It was so awesome to see the home of the man who discovered the place in which I live! I was in awe. It was absolutely beautiful also! Fabiola and I then walked down to the sea, and we saw the pirate ship that was built for the movie "Pirates" in 1986. It was a beautiful ship. Then this man who was selling necklaces on the street was SO PERSISTENT that he stuck the necklace on me as I was walking saying "DAI DAI" (come on), and Fabiola took it off me and said "no, grazie" haha she is so polite even when she doesn't have to be! When we walked away she rolled her eyes, and I was cracking up! My feet were killing me by this point, so we sat down for about 45 minutes and enjoyed the view. She then asked if I wanted to go to this store called Eataly, which is famous around the world (there is one in New York I think). It was so cool and everything looked delicious! It was like a gourmet Italian grocery store. There was also a restaurant in it in which you could eat! She bought some little cookies for me, and they were so good. Then we walked back to meet Simonetta and Francesco (he works there sometimes) at a bar to get a fruit smoothie! These were not like the ones in America, it was legitimately fruit blended together with no extra additives. IT WAS THE BEST SMOOTHIE I HAVE EVER HAD. I got the pineapple, peach, and kiwi one! After that Francesco took us to see this street of all these famous and old buildings that were gorgeous. The name of the Street was Viale Garibaldi, which is funny because that is the name of the street we live on in La Spezia! After that we walked back to the car and went home. I was so tired. We ate dinner and then I just had to go to sleep. It was such an amazing day. CIAO!

Day Thirty Three.
Soooo I literally did nothing today. Nothing. I had to do my homework that is due for Thursday because Fabiola and Francesco told me that we are going to Genova all day tomorrow! I am so happy because I GET TO MISS SCHOOL! It is where Christopher Columbus lived, so I am excited to see the town from which the man who discovered my country is from! I know my history teacher (Mr. "Woof") is probs super jealous right now, but don't worry because I will take pictures! This month is filled with traveling for me, which I love! I went to Pisa, Lerici, Bonassola, Sarzana, Vezzano, and Vernazza already. Then tomorrow I go to Genova, then this weekend to Monterosso (cinqueterre), Milan next weekend, then Florence, and then VENICE! It will probably be the best month of my life so far haha. I always have something to look forward to! Right now it is Genova, and then after tomorrow it will be Monterosso! LET'S GET IT STARTED. Well, that is all I really have to say for today. Tomorrow there will be more though! CIAO!
Day Thirty Two.
So nothing important happened today until Fabiola asked me if I wanted to go to a fashion show tonight! I was like "UH SI!!" haha. She she to dress up, so at first I was thinking I could wear my nice cheetah print jeans with my new boots, a tan (fancy) shirt with a jacket. I was so wrong! I came out and she said I had to change haha. It was funny! So then I changed into my new black dress with lace tights, and my black heels. When I showed her what I was wearing that time she said "OHHH CHE BELLA!" haha I love her. Francesco is a sponsor or something for the fashion show, so we got to sit in the first row! We also got gift bags with perfume in them. I love perfume, so I was quite the happy person. Also, Fabiola spoke in the show! It was awesome, and I took pictures of her hehe. It was so much fun. There was a section for little kids and it was ADORABLE. At one point a toddler and then a kid that was probably 7 came out, and the little boy just sat down on the runway. His brother fixed this problem by continuing to DRAG him across the runway and then pick him up! Everyone was cracking up! So then one of the workers went on stage to help him haha. I was dying. Then the adults came on. There were 5 categories (elegant, lingerie, night out, and other ones I can't remember). The lingerie category was something I was not expecting. I saw wayyyy more body parts than I had signed up for haha. Although the man in the underwear wasn't as tortuous to see than the others (; OKAY HE WAS HOT! He also walked along the first row and gave us free perfume samples (the women). So attractive... After the show I thought I recognized one of the girls in it, and it turns out I did! It was my friend Beatrice from school, and her sister was also in it! It was so cool to see her up there! I also talked to some of the other models after the show because one was from London and the other spoke English also. They were so nice! Fabiola told me that they modeled also for Armani and other companies like that. I had so much fun, and it was my first fashion show to go to! My first fashion show was in Italy! AWESOME. OH I ALMOST FORGOT! I also ate another whole pizza for dinner tonight! I was so proud of myself. Who would've thought you could be so proud from eating something? The strange thing is is that I am not gaining weight, but I am losing weight. The other foreign exchange student I know says she is too, and I think it is because we walk EVERYWHERE. I like it though, and I am not going to complain if I am not getting fat haha. Now it is midnight, and I am exhausted. Goodnight everyone!

Day Thirty One.
Sleeping in today felt so amazing. I woke up at 11:00 am refreshed and ready for the day! I got ready because I was going to go to Decathlon (sporting goods store) for tennis shoes for gym and Monterosso next weekend. I found a nice, cheap pair (15 euros), but they aren't the cutest things in the world. Oh well, I am only wearing them when absolutely necessary! When I got home we ate lunch, and then Fabiola and Francesco told me we were going to Pisa! I was so pumped! When we left it was beautiful and sunny in La Spezia, but when we got to Pisa (35 minutes away or so), it was dark and rainy! Luckily they had one umbrella, and then they bought another one for Francesco. It was 5 euros, and then it broke! They were not so happy (I don't blame them either haha). I took the cheesy photo with the leaning tower also! I felt like a true tourist! It was so funny because everyone who was there was awkwardly holding their hands up, but holding nothing haha. It is definitely the thing you must do when you go to Pisa. We also went inside the tower! I climbed over 300 steps to get to the top. I was tired, but it was so worth it! It was interesting too because right when you walk in the tower everything is kind of lopsided, so you have to balance yourself the entire time. It is fine at the top though! It is a spiral staircase, and then at the very top their are 7 bells that ring whenever there is a church service (and many other times of the day). They play them for each tourist group also, so we got to hear them! I also saw the inside of the church and the dome where people were baptized. It was so beautiful, and it's all hundreds of years old. That is such a crazy concept because nothing in America is as old as the architecture and monuments here. I was thinking "wow, I am in a church that was here 1000 years ago" and it is such a hard concept for me to grasp (I don't know why, I am weird). After we saw all the tourist sites, they took me to the Arno River and I got some gelato! We then walked around a little more, and then headed home! We ate dinner when we got home, and then I skyped with my family for a little bit! They said it was 29 degrees this morning! That is so cold compared to here! It is like 21 degrees celcius which is like 65 degrees farenheit. I like it, but I want it to get colder! Now I am going to go to bed, so goodnight!
Day Thirty.
Today Mie and I get out of school at noon! WE ARE SO HAPPY. It's the little things in life everyone. We were also happy because we were supposed to have gym, but then we didn't because it would mean we would have to stay at school until 1! After school I went home and ate lunch, did some homework, and then started to get ready for the night! Me, Mie, Beatrice, and some of her friends were going to Bonassola for the night! There was a festival of some sort going on where they put all these little candles in the sea (thousands) at night, and then have a huge fireworks display! We took the train there, and it was about a one hour ride. Mie and I listened to some Italian music on the way, and talked about how excited we were for the pizza (we were starving). When we got there we picked up the pizzas (each person had their own pizza) and drinks. It is still so crazy to me to see 16 year olds buy alcohol here! I am always thinking "oh no they are going to get in trouble!" Oh wait, not really haha. Then we walked down to the beach and sat down to eat! I WAS SO PROUD OF MYSELF BECAUSE I FINALLY ATE A WHOLE PIZZA! Everyone here does, so I promised that the next time I ate a pizza I would eat the whole thing. All I can say is: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. After we were done eating (at this point I was so full I could barely move), we talked for a little bit and took a ton of pictures! It was so funny at one point because the two guys with us were trying to open their beer bottles, but they couldn't. They then decided to make an educated decision to go try and pull the top off by pulling it againt the rocks next to the beach. We were laughing so hard! When they finally got them open the bottles were spraying and they had to control it, so they just stuck their mouths over the top haha. Don't worry, I have pictures! Mie and I wanted gelato so badly about an hour after we ate, so we walked to a gelateria and I got chocolate gelato with nocciola. SO GOOD. We walked back to this giant boulder along the sea and sat there to watch them put the lights in the ocean and to see the fireworks! I almost fell a time or two, but everything was okay in the end. It was so beautiful, words cannot even describe. I have never seen anything like it! All those candles in the sea floating at night. I have some videos, but it just doesn't do it justice. Once all the candles had floated out far enough, the fireworks began! I have never been so close to fireworks in my life. We were sitting probably 100 feet from where they were shooting them off, and when they were in the sky I had to tilt my head back. They were literally right above us! Sometimes I even freaked out a little bit because I was afraid it would touch me or something (it's dumb I know!). Their were even fireworks that went on the water! AMAZING. After the show we headed back to the train, and it was 11:45 pm. I was exhausted. We slept on the train ride back (well, Mie and I did haha) and when we returned I walked home with Fabiola and Francesco, and went to sleep. It was another fantastic day for me!
Day Twenty Nine.
School went by slow today (as usual), and once it got out I went home and rested for a little bit after lunch. My feet were killing me, and I thought it might have been because of my shoes that I wore yesterday (I hadn't worn them yet), so when I got home I took my shoes off and my pinky toes were red and had giant blisters on them ): IT HURT SO BADLY. I could barely walk. I put on house shoes hoping it would make it all okay haha. After I rested and did some homework, I texted Mie and asked her if she wanted to walk around and shop a little (we needed some things for school). She said yes, so I started walking towards the bus stop (where she arrives), and I ran into some school friends! They said that when I go to meet Mie we can come back and hang out with them at a bar. So once Mie was here, we walked back and talked with them for around half an hour, and then decided we needed to go get our stuff before dinner! We went into one little shop by the school that sells all sorts of things for school, I bought an agenda book, but after I purchased it I realized it wasn't for until next year... I was so upset! After that we went to another store (because we didn't find everything we needed in the one store), and the guy was so nice. He is in a band, and he also wrote a few books too. We talked with him for a while, and then I bought a notebook and Mie finally got her multi colored pens! After that I got some gelato, and we walked around a little more before we went our separate ways. When I got home I finished my homework, ate dinner, showered, and went to sleep. It is so weird going to bed early on a Friday night for me, but I am so happy because next weekend I am going to Monterosso for Rotary, so I won't be at school on Saturday! YES. Ciao everyone and buona notte!

Day Twenty Eight.
Today at school I was exhausted. I feel like I am always tired, and only when I am at school! Once it is over and I go home and eat lunch I feel so much better. I think school here is just so draining (and boring as hell). Mie and I are always SO HAPPY once it is over! Although I do love seeing everyone. It is the ONLY reason I go! We got another new schedule to follow (probably our 6th). We still don't have a permanent one, so that doesn't really help us that much. It will be easier once we can know where we are going, and connect with a group of people. Right now we are definitely still trying to fit in. I know I am still finding myself here also. It is a ton of new changes all at once (except I love it). After school today I went to my friend Clara's home (in 2C) for lunch! Her family is so nice! We ate pasta with pesto sauce, a fried meat, and this yummy dessert that was like a fig newton (but better). After lunch I talked with their family for a while, and then her sister took me home! I did some of my homework that buffa (our tutor) gave me, and then I relaxed for a while! Then we had dinner, which was mashed potatoes and chicken! I felt like I was at home (I told them that too)! It was AMAZING. They said they also eat it here a lot because I said it is very popular in America. After dinner, we talked for a little and then they could tell I was tired because I was slurring my words and rubbing my eyes, so they told me to go to sleep haha. I LOVE IT HERE! Goodnight everybody!

Day Twenty Seven.
I WENT TO SCHOOL TODAY EVERYONE! YAY for me! It was such an easy day for us. We had history, philosophy, english, and a free hour because we couldn't go in our last class. They were taking a test and I guess we would be a distraction or something. We went to the gym instead and hung out with the awesome gym teacher (Fabiola wasn't there, but the guy is so awesome)! After school I went home and ate lunch with nonna again, and then I had to go to the police station with Fabiola to get fingerprinted. It was pretty stinkin' cool. It was all electronic, so I got to see my fingerprints slowly show up as it scanned my finger. The smallest things entertain me! After that we went to Daniela Ghiglione's home (my second host family) and I got to see my next house for the first time! I love it! It is so pretty. We drank some juice all together (although Fabiola and Patrizia had tea), and then THERE WAS AN EARTHQUAKE. Yeah, you heard me. Okay, it wasn't groound splitting or anything, but we definitely felt it. I am not even going to lie... I kind of thought it was cool. We then walked out of the building though in case a stronger wave came or something (but that never happened). I have experienced my first earthquake everyone. Then we talked with them for a while and left to go park the car in the parking garage. We had a little detour on the way home though! There was this super cute Christmas shop we went into (Fabiola knew the owners, but then again she knows everyone!) and it made me wish Christmas was here SO BADLY! I started singing Christmas songs and I wanted to buy everything (although I didn't but anything)! After that we went to Piazza Brin, which is beautiful. There is a gigantic church that we went inside, and it was amazing to see. I didn't have my camera though so I couldn't take any photos, but Fabiola said we would come back again because it is close to the house (walking distance). Then we went to this pastry place where she had a friend, but she wasn't working. We bought some canoli for dessert after dinner, so I was super excited. Then we returned home, and I skyped with my family (mom, aunt, grandma, grandpa) for a little bit! Fabiola did also, and I got to be the translator which was so much fun! It made me feel like I am truly learning the language. After we spoke with them it was dinner time! IT WAS SO AMAZING. We had home made pizza, focacce, tuna on salad, and then the long awaited canoli. It was definitely a good day for me. Oh, and then I watched TVD, so it was even better. Now I am going to shower, and then SLEEP. Night peeps!
Day Twenty Six.
I stayed home from school again today (poop). When I woke up this morning my throat was worse, so Fabiola gave me some medicine. Then a little later she wanted me to take this spray stuff that is good for your throat. I was a little sketched out about it, so she did it first and said it tasted good. I was so stupid and I BELIEVED HER! It is called Propol, and it is my worst nightmare because it legitimately tastes like crap. I started gagging and saying "FABIOLAAAAAA" haha it was terrible. After that I slept for a century, and then went to nonna's home for lunch. I was so hungry! Once we were all finished I just started crying because I miss my family. They were talking about Francesca (their daughter who is in Colorado), and it made me think about my family! They were just telling me to let it out, so I did! Then Fabiola said she wanted me to get ready and that she was going to take me to Sarzana, and that I could ask Mie to come (so I did). I felt so much better. She truly does know how to comfort you if you are just down in the dumps. We picked up Mie and headed to Sarzana. Once we got there she said we could walk around and do whatever we wanted, so we went to eat! I got these yummy little pizzas and foccace, and Mie got a panino. It was fun because the lady talked with us in Italian a lot since we told her we were foreign! It was hard for us to order what Mie wanted, and she was so helpful. She wanted to know about our countries, why we were here, and for how long! I am happy we got to use our language skills (which are minimal right now), with someone we didn't know at all! After that we went and got some gelato (by this point in the day I had eaten gelato 2 times, yes I am fat). I, of course, got chocolate fondent. I can't remember what Mie got though! I think something that was a nut flavor. I love food here. I cannot say it enough! After that we shopped around a little bit, and then we walked around to see the part of the castle. It is so gorgeous there, I couldn't get enough! I love Sarzana. At around 6:30 pm we took Mie home, and I went to my third host family's home (Camilla Costa) for dinner! I love them so much! We ate gnocchi, salad, cheese and bread, and gelato (yes AGAIN!). It was so delicious. I then went home, showered, and went to sleep! I am always so tired, but it's all worth it! CIAO EVERYONE!
Day Twenty Five.
WAHHHH I AM SICK TODAY! I woke up with a sore throat and stomache ache so that was no fun at all. I am staying home from school, so I guess that means I am watching The Vampire Diaries all day today. I am bored already though. I wish I wasn't sick, although I am pretty okay with not going to school (classes are no fun). I ate lunch with nonna today, and it was delicious as always. We had pasta and fried polenta! It was so freaking good. After lunch I went back home and watched more TVD (I am obsessed, by the way). Then that night I ate dinner with Fabiola (pumpkin risotto, peaches, and chocolate torta). I was in heaven because I LOVE PUMPKIN RISOTTO. It is absolutely fantastic. Then I watched more TVD and went to sleep. Yeah I know it is a boring blog entry to read, but I promised myself I would write about everyday! I am sorry you are just going to have to accept this fact. So nighty night America!
Day Twenty Four.
So I slept all day today. I am not even joking. I was so tired from yesterday! Mie said she and Beatrice also slept all day haha. Since there is literally nothing to tell you about today, I guess I will just update you on how I am feeling! I miss my family of course, but I talk to them on skype a lot which is amazing. OH, and today is my mom's birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMA! LOVE YOU! Haha. School is going well. I have met a ton of new people, and I love it! I love walking through the halls and having people say hi to me! Also a lot of people have helped us out, which is fantastic. When we don't have a chair in the classroom there is always someone who says they will go and get one for us! It is just the small things that has made me feel so welcome here. Somedays are much harder than others, but I am happy because I haven't had a hard day in almost a week. I guess that it shows that I am starting to find my way here? I don't know if it is true, or if I have been too busy to notice I miss America. I am starting to really like the weather here because it is cool and cloudy. I am tired of hot and sunny! Also it has rained a few times. Italy is amazing, I am happy (and thankful) that I am here, and I plan on enjoying every sweet second of it. CIAO!
Day Twenty Three.
I am so excited for today (once school is over haha). It is rainy here, which I am LOVING right now. Also it is getting cold so I can start wearing my fall clothing! I am getting so excited for autumn! Anyway, after school I went home and ate lunch, and then Mie came over around 3:00 pm to watch a movie with me! The only problem was that we couldn't get the TV to work, and my host parents were at a soccer game so we tried to figure it out! We worked on it for over an hour, and just gave up. Luckily, I had downloaded The Hunger Games on my iPad for the plane ride here, so we just watched that! Also we ate oreos with peanut butter because Mie had never had it before. She loves it! After that we got our things ready to take the bus to her home for dinner, and then going to Jux Tap (a disco). When we were on the bus we were speaking half italian and half english, so we were getting some funny looks haha. It is fun to see people react when we talk! Once we got to her house, we walked up the GIANT hill to her front door (literally we were out of breath). We walked inside and hung out in her and Beatrice's room for a little bit, and then ate dinner! We had pizza and ferinata. SO GOOD. Also we ate fruit. Then we got ready to go to Jux Tap! Once we got there we had to wait outside for a while, but once it was 11:00 pm we could go inside! It was so much fun! We danced and talked and had a blast. After that we left at 2:00 am in the morning to have Beatrice's dad pick us up, except he had a flat tire! We sat in the car for a while until he couldn't get it to work, and then he called me host father and asked if he could come pick us up! It was 4:00 am in the morning when he came, and we didn't get home until 4:30 am. Then I went to sleep because I was so tired. Now for another day!
